Complete one of the following:
1. Continue practicing with WinHex. Complete Hands-on Project 5.1 & Hands-on Project 5.3.Please take screen shots to show your work. Include a brief explanation of each one. In 5-1, step 11, you need to include your observations about what you’ve done and learned. This can be in the document with your screen shots. For 5-3, also include a synopsis of the exercise. This way I can see that you’re understanding the exercise. Use this as an opportunity to continue learning about how to use WinHex to evaluate files. Feel free to be creative and add other things you’ve learned.
2. Use the Internet to read more about journaling file systems such as NTFS, extfs2, and extfs3. Write a report with the most significant points, including the primary advantages and disadvantages of journaling file systems. Include its importance to forensics and investigations.
3. Research Windows PowerShell. Explain what it is and how it can be used by a forensic analyst. Include examples of PowerShell commands and scripts. Include its importance to forensics and investigations.
