1) The research paper should follow the MLA format as explained in the seventh edition of The Little, Brown, Compact Handbook. Pay special attention to the Identification heading and page numbering. MLA format also includes double-spaced lines and 12 point Times New Roman font.
2) Paper Length:
Eight double-spaced pages, not including the Works Cited. The research paper is typed in 12 point Times New Roman font and double-spaced with one inch margin.
Additional Items: A Works Cited page that lists all sources cited in your paper and follows the MLA style.
3) Sources:
Six RELIABLE sources that are journal articles, or books. Web sources, such as “.com” “.org” and “.net” are not reliable for academic research and should not be used. If you have to use web sources, use “.edu” or “.gov.”
