Your audience for this presentation will be a group of hospice professionals wanting to learn more about how to handle hospice related issues. Keep in mind that the goal of this presentation is to take what you have learned and communicate this to an audience that might not be directly related to the multidisciplinary team.

Your presentation should include the following:

• Identify and clearly communicate the goals for your presentation and the reasons for them.
• Identify the main themes that were taken from the case and communicate the importance of each theme. In this section consider the following:
  • Conflicts.
  • Challenges.
  • How the multidisciplinary approach is used to arrive at the identified themes.
• Identify and communicate recommendations for addressing the main themes:
  • An approximate time frame.
  • People who need to be involved.
  • The resources required.
• Example from the Sheldon case to support ideas.
