1. List each stage of the Cycle of Liberation and summarize in your own words. List two topics previously discussed in the course and list what stage you place yourself within the Cycle of Liberation. Please explain why.
2. Choose one of the qualities of the Core of the Cycle of Liberation and briefly discuss how this quality might affect your ability to evoke change with individuals and with institutions.
3. Using resources available to you (media, peers, etc.), please collect data on the student movement/protests at the University of Missouri during Fall 2015 at Mizzou to answer the following questions:
• Who are members of privileged groups? Who are members of the oppressed groups? Please list specific individuals and group membership.
• Provide one example of oppression at each level of the contextual dimension of the social oppression matrix that contributed to the events of Fall 2015 (3 dimensions = 3 answers).
• What are your personal reactions to the events of Fall 2015?
• Please list one question you could ask each of the following groups to further your understanding of their perspective/experience: (a) privileged group members and (b) subordinated group member
