here are the instructions from the professor :

The specific assignment is as follows:

Explain, in your own words, the research question and hypothesis.
Explain in your own words the key independent variable, discrimination. What does Calvin mean by this? How will he be able to know it when he sees it? (That is, how will he “operationalize” this variable?) How would you suggest measuring and operationalizing this concept?
Consider Calvin’s case study of the United States. Is he measuring the independent and dependent variables here in a sensible way? Are there other kinds of things he could be doing to make a convincing case that he is assessing, correctly, the level of discrimination and the extent of domestic terrorism?
The U.S. is a great case, but he will need a bunch more. How should he go about adding additional cases? Keeping in mind that Calvin needs to have an independent variable that varies, what other countries should he add as cases to this thesis?
Are there any other suggestions for improvement you can think of?
