In the first half of the semester, we have read and discussed several short stories. We’ve analyzed them for character, conflict and resolution.

Write a complete essay with an introduction, four body paragraphs and a conclusion. Your body paragraphs should be organized in this way:

·Describe the character’s attributes (prior to conflict resolution).

·Describe the conflict of the story.

·Describe the resolution of the story.

·Describe how the character is different after the resolution of the story.

Keep in mind the following:

·You must quote from the story two times.

·You do not need to create a Works Cited page

·Organize your time wisely–write a complete essay

·Focus less on your introduction and conclusion and more on your body paragraphs. Use topic sentences.

·Follow MLA in-text citations rules.
