Your first task is to post your own Key Assignment Outline to the discussion area so that other students are able to review your plan. Attach your document to the main discussion post, and include any notes you feel are appropriate. The purpose of this assignment is to help improve the quality of the Key Assignment Draft you will complete next week.  The outline is focused on the TASKS contained within the Phase 4 IP (below). 

Phase 4 IP MAJOR TASKS:

• Explain the concept of organizational effectiveness, as it relates to the interactions of members.
• Describe methods used to assess the behaviors and attitudes of organizational members, and apply 1 model in an analysis of your organization.
• Analyze methods used to improve the behavior and attitudes of organizational members.
• Propose processes to build teams and manage their different stages of development.
• Evaluate methods of managing conflict and change within the organization.

NOTE:

Your outline MUST INCLUDE THE NAME OF A COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION THAT WILL BECOME THE FOCUS of your Phase 4IP and Phase 5 Key Assignment IP.  Additionally, what is NOT ACCEPTABLE is a Phase 4 DB outline that is basically a cut and paste of the Phase 4 IP Tasks.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.  As I have mentioned in Phase 3 Chats, I encourage you to take the time necessary to develop a sound outline AND Phase 4 IP.  The Phase 5 IP final key assignment is based on your Phase 4 IP assignment PLUS two additional tasks.  Thank you.
