Professor and Class,

The format employed when connecting with the audience is vital as it enables them to identify and correspond with the speaker. Building the audience is critical in establishing the exchange. The proper format means that the audience will be willing to listen based on the value they are receiving. Therefore, the actual presentation will result in positive actions, hence attract positive reactions from the audience with the vice versa holding (DeVito & Joseph 57). The format used provides the means for establishing audience’s problems as well as the attempt to solve them. Therefore, the presentation offers the unique power to elicit emotions from the audience. Format, therefore, is essential to inspire people in need of aspiration and have the ability to uplift individuals who are down. Additionally, the right format helps avoid communication errors.

Recently my manager when communicating with me revealed through email on the agendas of our meeting. The manner of conveying the action-oriented information that leads to the top of my emotions. The format approach portrayed my credibility as an employee in the organization. The prior expectations concerning the message involved a challenging time from the manager. Similarly, I had developed an expectation of information amounting to pressures from the manager. However, the channel relied on for communication had an impact of creating a perspective dissimilar from the prior one. The information provided relevant details, free from distracting and confusing, credible, highlighting success rather than failure, and propelling message. Additionally, the simple language applied while communicating and in the combination of short sentences made more comfortable for the grasp of the ideas. These energetic words relayed support for the concept, hence their capacity to create the difference in the perspective.
