The Unit 7 will focus on single-subject designs and how these designs can be used for the implementation of function-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs). These designs allow the behavior analyst to identify functional relations between the interventions and target behaviors and make determinations as to the effectiveness of interventions. The importance of visual analysis of data through the transfer of data to graphic displays will be discussed and an overview of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BACB’s) professional and ethical standards will be presented.
