OPIC : Price of Crude Oil is to low

THESIS  : The price of Crude Oil is to low and is causing the United States to fall back into a recession. 

MAIN POINT 1 : Market research shows that when the price of Crude Oil is driven down by outside suppliers, it will throw the U.S Economy into choas and forcing us to accept OPEC Nations pricing evaluation to avoid this.  When the price is driven down to a point where its not feasible to maintain and and keep operational wells , or rigs within the United States and forcing us to buy from them along with causing unemployment to shoot back up with the closure of these. 

MAIN POINT 2: Costs of Producing Oil is higher then buying from OPEC and this causes the United States to never be able to break the cycle of dependency like a drug addict can never shake the want for a fix; This is a very harshe analogy of the current situation with Crude Oil exploration and Refining in the United States. 

MAIN POINT 3 : U.S Shale Crude Oil can theoretically with 95 % capacity still not supply a full 50 % of what the U.S needs daily, so the fact that this oil price is being driven down by OPEC suppliers is only another way to keep that dependency active. And like any other scenario, we as a country are the ones who put these countries into power and being our monetary masters. The only way to start breaking some of the chains is for the U.S to not allow the price of Crude Oil to drop below a certain value which would ensure the production and exploration was still vibrant and the normal refining costs maintained. 

CONCLUSION : If the United States ever wants to be a real player in the world economy again, the first step is to break the dependency of others countries supply, use our own supply first then OPEC and other producers second which will stimulate the local and federal economy and increasing the amount of jobs to be had. If this is done we would still have to buy over half of whats needed to maintain the output needed for todays uses but would also increase the total economy and lower unemployment rate which will stop any recession. Oil booms can be maintained and the economy improved if we stand unified as a country. When this country is unified, there is nothing or no one that will delay or stop what can be achieved but if we are not unified, then we will always be a pawn for whatever country is exporting Crude Oil at the cheapest price per BBL and dictating what we have as a price per BBL. If we can even start to move towards energy freedom, we can dictate our own policies and never be forced to advicate to anyone involved in exportation of Crude Oil.

After consulting reference works, locate at least 6 credible sources related to your topic. These published works will inform you of arguments that are related to your topic. They can also provide evidence (facts, statistics, quotations, and examples) to support your own thesis and main points in the research paper that you will write later in the course.

There are two types of citations in APA style: in-text citations and reference citations. An in-text citation is an abbreviation. A reference citation lists all relevant information about a source. The following is a paragraph from a research paper on preventing juvenile delinquency that illustrates the difference between in-text and reference citations:

According to one expert, “Numerous warning signs can alert parents to children who are at risk of violent behavior later in life” (Friedman, 2014). Parents know that a child does not suddenly have moods swings and violent outbursts without some warning sign. Recognizing these signs in childhood can help prevent adolescent delinquency.

Friedman, J. (2014). The terror within: Recognizing and dealing with violent tendencies in children. Pediatrics for Parents, 23(4), 13.

The author and date in parentheses (Friedman, 2014) is an in-text citation. It appears in the sentence where the source was used and is an abbreviated form of the reference citation. All of the information in the paragraph was the student writer’s except what was in the sentence that included an in-text citation.

After the paragraph, you can see the full reference citation of the source. The reference citation provides all of the information that someone would need to find this source.

Complete the following for your assignment:

• Create a list of 6 sources that you will find useful in developing your topic as you write about it in the next paper.
• Each source must be listed as a reference citation. You should follow each reference citation for the 6 sources with a short paragraph of 3–4 sentences in which you comment on the source. You should comment on the author’s main points and how the source may be of use to you when writing your paper.
  • Did you find any strong arguments in the source that you had not thought of?
  • Did the source make you rethink your position in any way?
  • Did you see any facts, statistics, quotes, or examples that you could use to support your thesis?
