I have attached the previous assignment I completed because this assignment continues off of it. I have also downloaded the powerpoint for these chapters as well.

In the last Module, we have learned individual differences and job analysis, and you have conducted a job analysis on your dream job in Module 2 Assignment.

In this Module, we learned that selection assessment is critical to ensure that employees hired will not only have the ability to do the work, but also have the highest potential to adapt themselves to the dynamic work environment. As I mentioned in the last Assignment, this Assignment will focus on selection assessment.

Overview

Now that you have analyzed the job of your interest, I would like you to imagine that you are a HR manager in the profession and responsible for recruiting new employees for the job. How would you design a selection system for the recruitment? These are vital components of this assignment.

Details

In this assignment, you should first introduce, very briefly, the work/job that you are interested and define its work performance.

Next, you should develop a selection system for the staffing purpose. For example, will you use tests, interviews, assessment centers, situational judgment tests, or biodata? The Mental Measurements Yearbook (available at https://marketplace.unl.edu/buros/test-reviews/categories (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.) may be helpful for sorting through existing measures. Or, describe how you would create your own. Next, discuss how you will combine the components of your selection system. Finally, you need to justify why your selection system is best. Feel free to use information learned in class to do this (e.g., validity, base rate, utility, etc.). Use scientific terminology correctly, as defined in class (e.g., correlation is the index of linear association two measurable variables, not just any relationship between two things).

Again, please use at least 3 sources. These can include the course text and lecture notes, supplemental readings, websites, or other outside material. Document your research with APA style citations, including a separate references (bibliography or works cited) page; discuss with the instructor/GTA if your major specifically only deal with other types of format (MLA, Chicago, etc.). In addition to your 3 sources, be sure to cite your source/s for your job analysis. Your paper should be at least 2 pages long (or 500 words without references page; 750 words max; typed, double-spaced, 12 pt, times new roman, 1 inch margins for all sides, no title page/name/course numbers; Microsoft Word or other readable file format on Webcourses). Please pay close attention to the format requirements and be informed that these are minimum requirements for the submission. Once the submission meets the minimum requirements, it will be graded based on the contents and clarity.

To help you organize the paper and ensure obtaining fair grading, on the next page, I have also developed a table listing the detailed topics that you need to cover in the paper. This list serves as an outline of your paper and also reminds you of the important topics that you don’t want to miss. Your paper is required to cover all the topics on the list in order to receive a perfect score. Our grading TA will actively search for the topics in your paper to decide the score; points will be deducted if any topics are missing. Having said that, I also encourage you to go beyond the topics listed in the table, and two bonus points will be rewarded to the papers that cover more than the list.
