Proposal:

Your proposal can involve a new source of revenue which may relate to a product or service, or an operational improvement.

Company:

The proposal is for your current or prior employer. Military is considered an employer. If you do not have a meaningful employer relationship, choose an organization you have volunteered for or otherwise have been associated with.

For Week 3

Select a product or service for this assignment in which you believe your organization should either start to offer, or a way the company can improve operations. It is recommended that you choose your current or a past employer for this choice.

Create a Microsoft^® Word analysis of 750 to 1,000 words. Your proposal must include all the following details:

• Describe the product or service, including its main characteristics, or the cost reduction opportunity. Include the responsible department and the institutional impact of the change.
• Explain why you believe this proposal is worthwhile?
• Your primary audience is the person in your organization who must approve of your new concept. Explain how you will establish credibility with this person.
• Provide a profile of other audience/s who will need to consider the proposal. Why are these audience/s important?
• How will you approach or communicate with each audience? Select an appropriate channel for delivering your message based on context, audience, and purpose. Explain why you selected the channel.
