This assignment has two parts.

The first part is an observation of a classroom.

• You will need to describe in one or two paragraphs how the classroom is set up. Where are things in the classroom placed. Why do you think this was done?
• Next you will discuss what the daily schedule looks like. Again, talk about why some subject are at what parts of the day.
• Finally you will talk about the ways families and cultures are integrated into the classroom.

While inserted pictures may lend clarity, they are not necessary.

Part two

Write a guidance philosophy statement stating his/her beliefs about the goals of guidance and how to support those goals in a classroom setting.

Each part will be 500 words in length. The total paper will be a minimum of 1000 words. This will be in one submission please, not multiple submissions.
