However, this can differ day-to-day. This is why I feel that standards are adequate for now but might not be same for tomorrow.Response 2The standard of care is outlined as the medical professional using dignity, respect, and compassion at the time of patient care. It classifies the level and type of care provided by the health care professional to the patients during treatment. The standard of care is required for all health care professionals and organizations because it ensures patients are provided accurate treatment that is safe. The standard of care for each patient will be different depending on what their current medical status is. As a health care provider, you are required to provide the best possible care available and honor the patient provider contract. It allows you to develop trust with your patient and keeps them coming back to schedule more visits for medical care. I believe the standard of care is not adequate because it can never be fully captured. We can never fully measure or ensure the standard of care is being provided during treatment unless an issue arises.
