Use the Afroborameter data set for this assignment. Read the three scenarios posted in the resources area of the course for Week 11. Use the Chi – Square test to test each scenario. YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THREE!!

Scenario 1
IV = presence of democracy (DEMOCRACY_DICH, Democracy [dichotomous])
DV = trust in police (Q59h. Trust police)

Scenario 2
IV = URBRUR (Urban or Rural Primary Sampling Unit)
DV = DV = trust in police (Q59h. Trust police)

Scenario 3
IV = presence of democracy (DEMOCRACY_DICH, Democracy [dichotomous])
DV = Q3A (Q3a. Country’s present economic condition)

Write a formal, scholarly, APA style summary of your results. Address all of the following in 1 to 2 paragraphs for each one of the three scenarios:

– State the research question.
– State the null and alternative hypotheses.
-Identify the IV, the DV, and how they are measured. Refer to their measurement level and how each category is coded.
-Report the Chi-Square results in APA format.
-Report your decision about the null hypothesis and whether the results are significant at the .05 level.
– Report and interpret the effect size using Cramer’sV.
– Provide a clear summary of the percentages in the cells that contribute to the effects.See my example where I report the percentage of males and females who are in favor of legalizing marijuana.
-Comment on what could be influencing the results.
– Discuss implications for social change. In other words, what can we learn from this and how could it be used in a beneficial way. This can be brief; a sentence or two will likely suffice.
– Append the SPSS output at the end of the paper in 3 separate Appendices.
