In the Week Five assignment, develop an annotated bibliography of sources associated with your topic of interest and research focus. Start with the four qualitative research studies you identified in Week Two and the four quantitative research studies you identified in Week Three. Augment these scholarly sources with the four institutional, organizational, or governmental agency sources you identified in Week Four. Make sure that all of the sources you identify and include in your annotated bibliography are relevant to your research topic. If your Instructor provided feedback in Weeks Two, Three or Four that any of your resources were not acceptable, make sure to find replacement sources before you write your annotated bibliography. These sources will form the basis of a literature review that you will write in the second Scholarly Argument course, RES 7510.

Compile an annotated bibliography of the eight research study articles and the four supplemental sources you identified throughout this course. Make sure to include:

• A complete citation of each source in proper APA format (incorporate feedback you received form your instructor about proper APA formatting). If needed, use the APA Formatting Templates (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. to ensure the most common reference types are formatted correctly, and use your APA manual for less common reference types.
• An overall summary of each academic journal article OR a summary of the information you found from the institutional, organizational, or governmental agency sources
• An explanation of the relevance or usefulness of each source and a synopsis of how each article, report, or data set will help contribute to answering your research question
• An analysis of the consistency, evidence, bias, and unresolved questions in the resource and the credibility of the resource to support academic research

At the conclusion of the annotated bibliography, write a brief (500-word) overall summary of critical findings from your research that addresses your topic of interest. These may be presented in bulleted format.

The annotation for each source should be at least 250 words in length. Include a title and reference page to your annotated bibliography. No abstract is necessary for this assignment.
